AeRO is dedicated to high-growth potential companies, especially SMEs and start-ups. Anticipated capitalization (market value) of a company that wants to list on AeRO can be calculated based on a share issue that can be offered either via an IPO, based on a prospectus, or through an offer document if addressed to a maximum number of 149 investors or other situations, according to la law. For investments in companies that want to get listed on AeRO, retail and institutional investors can contact an Authorized Advisors from the list on the BVB website. At this stage, a company addresses potential investors to obtain the targeted financing. If the offer is successful, the company raised the money, and the investors have subscribed the shares, the company is listed at BVB, on AeRO. After the listing, the shares can be traded on the secondary market, with the support of a market participant.
For an investor, buying a stake in a company that wants to list on AeRO is the opportunity to enter at a very early stage of its development. Companies listed on AeRO can have an accelerated growth, and the return of investment can be outstanding. Potential investors in companies listed on AeRO have to know that an alternative trading system is a market dedicated primarily for smaller companies and start-ups to which a higher investment risk tends to be attached than to companies listed on a regulated market.
AeRO will include companies with high growth potential, as those from IT&C. Through a private placement in a start-up or SME, investors will be able to diversify their portfolios, with more risky assets classes, but from sectors with high potential, that were not available until now on the Romanian stock market.
AeRO provides trading rules similar with the regulated market of BVB. Listed companies must act like public companies, they have to report and to implement the Principles of Corporate Governance approved by BVB.
