Index licensing

Bucharest Stock Exchange calculates and disseminates in real time seven investible indices: blue chip, sector, as well as an UCITS compliant index fully dedicated to the asset management industry, all under the BET index family trademark. BVB jointly owns and calculates with Wiener Borse the Romanian Traded Index (ROTX). All BVB indices include only companies listed on the Romanian capital market.

BVB indices are legally protected trademarks. The use of indices as basis for structured products, funds or exchange traded derivatives, or for any other index linked financial product issued by a company, is subject to the conclusion of a license agreement signed with BVB.
